Guenter Fuerbacher

Günter Fuerbacher- President

For more than 30 years, Günter has had a strong presence in the European automobile market in western New York. Günter's vision for a high quality independent Foreign vehicle dealership that not only strives to deliver precision repairs and excellent service but doing so at better prices than the franchised dealers came to fruition in 1984. Universal Imports was born. Prior experience ranges from working with BMW in Germany as well as managing several European dealerships in upstate NY. Günter is very much in touch with his customers and his passion for European vehicles and his customers has never been stronger. Günter and his wife Astrid live in Fairport NY and have three children and 7 grandchildren. Günter is native to Bavaria and came to the United states in 1966. Günter loves Gardening and has served with the Fairport Rotary club for over 20 years.

 
Mark Fuerbacher

Mark Fuerbacher - Vice President Sales and Operations

Growing up in the car business, Mark has developed a passion for European cars and loves interacting with his customers. From the ground up, Mark started working at Universal Imports in 1989 doing every job along the way. Some customers still remember when Mark washed their car or drove them home when their car was in for service. Mark not only oversees all the day-to-day operations and stays in tune with what his customer needs are, but also has mastered the art of finding people exactly the car they are looking for and making the experience easy and enjoyable. Ryan Beattie - Body Shop and Service Manager

Ryan has been working in the automotive business since high school, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University. He spent summers during college working for an automotive engineering company designing various engine components. Since then he has managed different automotive operations including classic car restoration, collision refinishing, and late model service. Ryan now manages the Universal Imports service department and heads up the body shop as well. When not working Ryan enjoys backpacking, kayaking, and spending time in the outdoors.
